During Mitt Romney’s run for the office of President of the United States in 2007, he stated during his heartfelt speech (Faith in America) on "Mormonism" that he watched his Father (George Romney) "...march with Martin Luther King" in Michigan in 1968. However, this is a complete and utter lie. And, those of you more familiar with Mormon theology and its culture, easily recognize this statement as being rather incongruous because you already know that Mormons tend to be white supremacist and anti-Black, and that the Mormon religion itself refused to let Blacks hold the sacred Mormon melchizedek priesthood until 1978.

Mitt Romney Speech - Faith in America: Part 2 (Mitt lies about dad marching with MLK)
So, why did Mitt lie to America? After all, isn’t honesty an attribute Americans look for in a Presidential candidate? Interestingly enough, the truth might shock you. Mitt’s father, George Romney was actually born in the Mormon polygamous community of Colonia Juarez, Sonora Mexico, which is about 120 miles south of Douglas, Arizona. Mormon polygamists who fled Utah in the late 1800’s actually founded Colonia Juarez in the late 1800’s after the United States forced the Utah Mormons to ban polygamy (which they still haven’t done today). Today, Colonia Juarez is a thriving polygamous community that still includes members of Mitt Romney’s and Orrin Hatch’s family among its ranks. In fact, on June 15, 2009, the Sinaloan Drug Cartel even kidnapped Meredith Romney, President of the Colonia Juarez Mormon Temple, and the Government of Mexico has linked the Mormon Church in Colonia Juarez to the laundering of drug money and the illicit US drug trade. But, the official word on this by the Mormon Church is that Romney was targeted because the Mormons took a bold stance and spoke out against the illicit Mexican drug trade. Regardless, the Mormon paid the drug cartel its requested ransom.
Another interesting bit of truth that Mitt didn’t disclose is that his father (George Romney) abandoned his own bid to run for President of the United States two weeks before the 1968 New Hampshire primary after claiming that he had been "brainwashed" by the United States military during a tour of Viet Nam, and after calling U.S. participation in the war, "the most tragic foreign policy mistake in the nation's history.” So, what’s really going on here with Mitt Romney and the Mormon religion, and why did Mitt refuse to be more open and forthcoming. Further, why did Mitt try and create a false impression that he and his Mormons are so completely culturally diverse, when in fact they are not and never have been, and why does Mitt Romney seem so duplicitous, just like the hierarchy of the Mormon religion seems to be?
Why would Mitt Romney lie to America, and what is he and the Mormon religion trying to hide from the American public?
