Orson Card, today in 2009, only reiterates what the great Mormon prophets Joseph Smith and Brigham Young advocated in the 1800’s. In fact, the Mormon Church has already fought 3-wars against the United States (Missouri War, Illinois War and Utah War). And, Joseph Smith was arrested twice for treason against the United States. The second time Smith was arrested in 1844, he had been ordained by his secret "Council of the Fifty" as “King of Zion”, which he claimed held dominion over the entire United States, appointed Brigham Young as the New President of the United States and formed the “Nauvoo Legion” to overthrow America with military force.

I wonder if Orson Card has been ordained as the new Mormon “King of Zion”, has appointed another Mormon to be the new President of the United States or is currently forming a Mormon militia to overthrow the United States with military force. Regardless, Card advocates overthrowing the Government of the United States by “whatever means necessary” and "criminalizing" homosexuality. But, why stop there, shouldn't America also criminalize rogue religious cults, religious zealotry, megalomania and cult insanity as well?

Card also labeled the US government "our mortal enemy" and talked about how the "insane Constitution" was dying. His “thought provoking” article was published in the influential Mormon Times, a publication that is owned by the Mormon Church. But ironically, isn't it the very same Constitution of the United States that allows the Mormon cult to practice their own insane brand of cult worship right here in America. Oh yeah, and couldn't Card's reference to "how the constitution is dying" be construed at a reference to the secret Mormon prophecy of, "The Doctrine of the Constitution Hanging by a thread?", which teaches that the Mormon elders of Zion will one day, "rush in and save the constitution and be left holding up its remains for all of the other nations of the world to see?"

There are many versions of this secret prophecy, but my favorite is the 1954 version by Mormon President Harold B. Lee, which states:

1952: "Joseph Smith...[said] the time would come when the Constitution would hang as by a thread and at that time when it was thus in jeopardy, the elders of this Church would step forth and save it from destruction. Why the elders of this Church? "We alone know by revelation as to how the Constitution came into being, and we, alone, know by revelation the destiny of this nation" - Harold B. Lee, LDS apostle and future Mormon President. Conference Report, October 1952

Never mind that the Mormons had absolutely nothing to do with the drafting of the Constitution or that none of the Founding Fathers were members of the Mormon religon (how funny would that be). For those of you who aren't familiar with Mormon religious insanity, the Mormons believe the Constitution of the United States was divinely inspired by God himself, which he purposely "channeled" through the Founding Fathers so that the Mormon religion would be able to survive and flourish in the United States. Essentially, the Mormons believe is was written to allow them to convert the United States into their own "Mormon Kingdom of Zion".

Ah, the insanity continues!
